Consultation on proposed introduction of 2 year old provision within the beamont nursery setting
Beamont Primary Academy School is excited to share a proposal to open a two year old provision within our existing nursery at school!
This addition would create up to 4 places for 2 year olds, helping to meet the growing demand for these spaces in our local area.
Our new 2 year old provision would offer convenient, high-quality option right within the community, supporting more families to access early education within a school setting close to home. This also gives families the option and convenience of having all siblings in the same setting.
This proposal is dependent on securing government funding, as well as gathering input from our community during the consultation process. Your feedback is essential to help us move forward with this project and meet the needs of local families.
Benefits of our proposed 2 year old provision
Our current Nursery provision provides an excellent start to our children's development. By expanding our current offer to include 2 year olds we aim to:
- Meet Local Demand: With 2 year old provision places in high demand, we aim to provide an accessible, high-quality option for our families. Many of which have already enquired as to whether the school provides this.

- Lifelong Partnership: This also maximises the time that your child would spend in our school, aiding transition into Reception and beyond; strengthening the partnership between families and school.
